BFRC Scheme

Window Energy Rating Schemes (WER’s)

Build Check Certification is approved by the BFRC (British Fenestration Ratings Council) and Certass for their Thermal Rating Register (TRR) Scheme to undertake audits on companies who wish to sell window energy ratings (WER’s). An annual audit is a requirement of these schemes.

Choosing Build Check as a certification body will enable you to register with either the BFRC or Certass schemes or both.

WER’s are an approved way of meeting Document L requirements for replacement windows and have the added advantage of being a recognised brand that is useful for marketing.
